■Kabukiza Gallery Exhibition Contents

 From the history of Kabukiza to how to enjoy Kabuki, we have prepared exhibits that even those who are new to Kabuki can enjoy.
 Also, the exhibition this time is a mechanism QRTranslator that can be viewed not only in Japanese but also in multiple languages (https://jp.qrtranslator.com/) will be introduced on a trial basis. By reading the QR code installed in front of each display panel with your smartphone, you can view content translated into each language from the web page.

■MixedReality: New experiential content using mixed reality (MR) technology

 Screen screenings of video works will also be held at “Kobikicho Hall” at the Kabukiza Gallery.
 By wearing an MR headset at this screening, we will provide a new audition experience, such as multilingual subtitles and virtual effects floating in space.

Title of work:“Until Umeomaru Is Made ~Umeowabiki Ai~ (Umeou Obi no Hikiai)”(Planning/Production/Author: Kabukiza Gallery)
Description of the work: This is a documentary-style video work closely related to Kabuki actor Kataoka Ainosuke, who appears in the Kabuki program “Kurumabiki,” and until he goes up to the stage.

Cast (s): Ainosuke Kataoka
In 1981, she became a roommate of the 13th Kataoka Ninzaemon, and performed for the first time under the name Kataoka Chiyomaru.
He was adopted by Kataoka Shutaro in 1992, and succeeded Kataoka Ainosuke as the sixth generation.

 The MR headset “HoloLens 2” used in this case is a holographic computer equipped with Windows that combines the physical world and digital. Please refer to the following website for details.
