1. Research Overview

Focusing on the “future image” of sustainable and resilient development of cities, we have built a future urban information infrastructure consisting of Cyber Physical System (CPS) orchestration that operates backcast-oriented starting from a “future image” created/edited/shared by diverse people in a virtual space, and super-resolution information generation/distribution/actuation using a Beyond 5G network, especially in terms of environment and disaster prevention, Kanagawa Prefecture A wide-area demonstration will be carried out in the southern Shonan region.

2. Presentation of first-year research results at the “Regional IoT and Information Power Consortium” symposium

(6) Event Overview
The “Regional IoT and Information Power Research Consortium” was launched in 2017 with the aim of building smart cities that enrich people's lives by applying machine learning technology such as deep learning, etc. to create services that utilize the power of information in various fields such as smart homes, smart mobility, and smart spaces. In this consortium, we have promoted so-called regional DX activities together with local governments in the Shonan region, each consortium member company, and everyone in each university laboratory. Also, the activities of this consortium led to the activities of several national professionals, and last year in particular, the “ShonanFutureVerse” project, which is NICT's Beyond5G project, started. This time, the 4th “Regional IoT and Information Power Research Consortium” symposium and the “Shonan FutureVerse” project will be held as a joint symposium on the theme of “Super Resolution Sensing for Future City Creation in 2030.”
